Alright, I just want to pull attention to the fact that in today’s media we view fairies are bright, happy, playful, childlike beings. Most fairies are covered in leaves and fairy dust. Everything is all pink and happy with butterfly wings. To be fair, Disney probably hasn’t helped in shaping our view of fairies (though we love the adorable creatures they created). I just want people to understand that the wee folk are very good at playing with you, and they may not always be what we believe them to be. To Disney, fairies’ bodies are too small to hold more than one emotion at a time. I think fair folk normally stick with one feeling. If they aren’t always unhappy then why torment poor humans? And here we are obsessed with their existence… well at least it makes a great costume.
They aren’t always what they seem.
Don’t forget the costumes.
